Women's Art Register 50th Anniversary Poster, 2025, digital print on paper, 420mm x 594mm
This poster was commissioned by the Women’s Art Register (W.A.R.) to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The image is based on a collage created from materials I have collected from W.A.R. archive through my research there over the years. It incorporates references to past W.A.R. posters, events, and archival documents, capturing the spirit of W.A.R. over the past 50 years. In creating this poster, I wanted to reflect on W.A.R.'s significance - not only as an archival collection and slide library but also as a living space where feminism is actively practiced and community continues to be nurtured.
The poster was first exhibited in Landmarks 75/25: 50 Years of the Women's Art Register at George Paton Gallery, 6 - 28 March 2025. It will be available for sale at all W.A.R events throughout 2025.
